We had 28 G-Suite IDs to be shared by seventy-five employees. All non-managerial employees were given access to a shared ID specific to the department and business function. We did it because getting every employee a personal email account via Google Workspace was quite a stretch for our IT budget. But this approach was causing lots of chaos, as emails were being read and deleted with no accountability. Last year, we decided to implement GS Plus Email Server on an on-premise network server.
Now every employee has a unique personalized email id ensuring complete accountability for business operations. Moreover, the cost of Google Workspace has gone down 90%. Spearhead Team installed GS Plus Email Server in a few hours and updated all the settings.
